Japanese Yakuza 4 Cinematic Trailer Introduces Main Characters

2
The third installment of developer Amusement Vision's Yakuza series isn't due out in North America until March of this year. That doesn't mean it's too early to check out the Japanese trailer for Yakuza 4 already rapidly approaching a similar March release date in Japan.

Yakuza 4 hasn't been announced for release outside of Japan yet, but if the latest entries in the series are any indication, the PS3-exclusive Japanese crime-world sandbox adventure has a decent chance of making it to North America...eventually. It just might take a year or so.

A speed boat, prison break, gunplay, slow-motion fist-fighting, and some split-screen shots of the Japanese voice actors and their digital counterparts are the courses du jour.

The models look really good, but the animations are so wooden. :p

Judging by the trailer, I'm thinking that they'd need a legendary budget to go in and fine-tune the thousands of facial animations in that game.
