Shack PSA: Free Strong Bad's Cool Game Episode, Free Zero Gear Weekend and 75% Off King's Bounty

7
To celebrate the seventh birthday of HomestarRunner's one-armed fire-breather "Trogdor the Burninator," Telltale is today offering the final installment in its episodic adventure Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People as a free PC download.

But that's not the only deal going around, as Nimblebit is celebrating the release of its multiplayer kart racer Zero Gear (PC) by allowing everyone to play it for free until Sunday January 17, with a 25% discount bringing the price down to $14.99.

Also, both King's Bounty RPGs are 75% off on Steam until tomorrow (Thursday), with a Gold Edition bundling the two entries (Legend and Armored Princess) at $11.95.

It's like I know King's Bounty is just a rehash of old HOMM games but I can't... stop... playing...

It's a strategy game like heroes of might and magic?

It's like an uber HOMM 2 or 3 (if my memory serves, been a long time since I've played them). Basically like one of the HOMMs before they started getting complex.

I spent about 4 hours on the demo. It was fantastic and happy and beautiful. For 11.75 for both games... ZOMG. Bought.

I wish more people knew about it and bought it at launch. Still, glad to see it selling well now at the sale prices.

Technically HoMM is a rehash of the original King's Bounty game.
