Ubisoft Delays Splinter Cell Conviction, RUSE

Ubisoft Montreal's stealth-action sequel Splinter Cell: Conviction and Eugen's strategy game R.U.S.E. have both been delayed, publisher Ubisoft revealed today.

Conviction's latest delay pushes the PC and Xbox 360 game to April 2010. Initially due in 2007, the oft-postponed title was most recently penciled in for a February 23 release.

As for R.U.S.E., the "one-of-a-kind" PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 strategy game is now expected to arrive sometime during Ubisoft's next fiscal year (April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011) instead of its original 'by March 31, 2010' timeframe.

You know these delays really don't bother me like they used to. If it means the game will be better I'm fine with that.

Also there's anough shit to play in the next little while and I have a big backlog so this is almost a relief.

Agreed. Splinter Cell = whatev, but I was looking forward to RUSE. It's ok though like you I have a significant backlog right now.
