If you've ever loved--or loathed--crawling through vents, blasting through walls and seeking alternate routes, you might find the perspective interesting. If you're a cruiser, yes.
As an escort class, you're going to be front loaded with weapons, including more powerful phaser canons which have a smaller arc, so you'll often be doing strafing runs on enemy ships, which is doable because you turn a good bit faster than in the newbie ship.
