Ace Combat Returns to PSP with Joint Assault
by Chris Faylor, Jan 12, 2010 11:40am PSTFollowing up on 2006's Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception (PSP), publisher Namco Bandai today revealed announced that a second entry in the popular multi-platform flight-action series is coming to Sony's portable sometime later this year.
Coming from series developer Project ACES, Ace Combat Joint Assault will include "more than 40 fully licensed aircraft" and " multiple real-world locations including Tokyo, San Francisco, and London," according to Namco.
In addition to its single-player campaign, Joint Assault will also sport various forms of online and local area multiplayer, including a co-op campaign--four players split into teams of two and complete objectives on two separate maps, with completed goals affecting "battle conditions" on the other map--and eight-player "adversarial matches."
