It's been a bumpy ride for Sam "Serious" Stone, but the time-traveler's journey to Xbox 360 is at an end, with producer Devolver Digital and Microsoft confirming that Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter will hit Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, January 13. Croteam's high-definition revamp of the frantic shooter packs support for four-person online co-op on Xbox Live, with the download priced at 1200 MS Points/ $15. The game hit PC in November 2009, sporting 16-player online co-op and a suggested price tag of $19.99, with a HD revamp of Serious Sam: The Second Encounter in the works.

The following Wednesday (January 20) will see Premium Agency's one-to-eight player Xbox Live Arcade shooter DEATH BY CUBE debut, with publisher Square Enix specifying that the downloadable game will be sold at 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

    PC FTW.

Better graphics, 16 player co-op, and 7 bucks on Steam right now.

Probably yes, but the differences in ME2 will be higher resolution and 10 bucks cheaper for the standard version. And probably a better interface.

It seems like a lot of the menus are just waiting for content to be added in so we'll see.... here's hoping.
