Indie Platformer 'VVVVVV' Demo Released

6
Indie developer Terry Cavanagh has released his topsy-turvy PC platformer VVVVVV today as well as a demo available in Windows and Mac flavours from FileShack.

The demo contains two levels of challenging gravity-flipping fun from the eight in the full version, which can be bought direct from Cavanagh for $15. The Linux version also planned for release today has been briefly delayed due to "technical issues." The soundtrack by chiptune artist SoulEye can also be bought for $4.

I want more PC games with 8/16 bit graphics and chiptunes for music.

The "Potential for Anything" song (in the Lab level) made me smile. I didn't expect the mod-style percussion, so it was awesome listening to it. I might want to try mixing it in with some of my other trance music if the full release version is long enough.
