The Video Game Release List of 1/10 - 1/16
by Chris Faylor, Jan 09, 2010 9:15am PSTIt's only the second week of 2010, but Konami and Ubisoft are already duking it out for the year's most ridiculous Wii title. Walk It Out! versus Sleepover Party--only one can win.
If you're looking for a particular system, skip right to the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS or PSP, or read on through for the full breakdown.
The retail games are due to hit North American shops by Wednesday, January 13.

You can purchase the Vancouver 2010 Olympics game for the PC online through the Games for Windows - LIVE Games on Demand service. You can join LIVE for free on the PC (no subscription fee required on the PC) and play the PC version of Vancouver 2010 Olympics on LIVE and earn achievements and build toward your Xbox LIVE gamerscore. If you already have an Xbox LIVE account and Gamertag you’re ready to go on the PC as well - it's the same LIIVE service on the PC and the Xbox 360.

With the Wii, they are mostly targeting a casual audience, which would be where "Sleeover Party" comes from (im guessing.) What about the mainstream gaming audience on the PC? What about the crowd that isn't blown away by 16 bit, pixelated side scrollers that make you feel like nothing happened in the last 30 years?? I've been looking at the release lists for the last couple months, and they're all something along the lines of "golf simulator 2009" or "ultimate baddass fishing". The PCs lineup is becomming thinner and thinner it seems.

If that doesn't come out next-next week, I'm going to shoot a baby. Out of frustration.
