Evening Reading: 3D 3D

Here's a fresh chatty for you all to enjoy on this Friday night. We've had our ups and we've had our downs, but it's been a pretty good first week to start off the new year. It will no doubt be remembered as vividly and with the same fondness as all the other first-weeks-of-the-year past. That is, not much at all.

The weekend is almost upon us. May yours be as fun and exciting as an endless stream of sharp news, snappy headlines, and witty comments from Faylor, Alice, Garnett, Jeff, and the rest of the Shack.

Late to the party but just finished playing Mass Effect for the first time on PC. Not a bad game at all. The beginning is very slow but once you leave the Citadel is gets nice. Now I wonder if I should attempt to get my character to level 60 for ME2. I didn't do many of the side quests so I probably will play it once more and go through them all. My only concern is how you end the game with the decision to save the council or not will it have any significance in ME2?

      you go to c-sec headquarters to the guy in the basement that sells weapons. you have to do it after you've saved 1 million credits. it unlocks after that. basically i sell everything i can and only spend money on grenade and weapon packs until i get 1 mil. think it would happend around level 30 i think?
      
      once you unlock them from c-sec dude they unlock from the dude sellings stuff in your ship. basically theyre the 2nd best weapons in the game. you unlock a new set of spectre weapons at level 50 though but you probably wont get those on your first playthrough.
      
      oh yeah they only sell them once so if you want 2 assault rifles you have to buy one from your ship, one from c-sec and that's it so dont go selling them.
