Evening Reading: 3D 3D
by Greg Mueller, Jan 08, 2010 5:00pm PSTHere's a fresh chatty for you all to enjoy on this Friday night. We've had our ups and we've had our downs, but it's been a pretty good first week to start off the new year. It will no doubt be remembered as vividly and with the same fondness as all the other first-weeks-of-the-year past. That is, not much at all.
The weekend is almost upon us. May yours be as fun and exciting as an endless stream of sharp news, snappy headlines, and witty comments from Faylor, Alice, Garnett, Jeff, and the rest of the Shack.
In case you missed it, here's a taste of all the fun and excitement we had today:
Splinter Cell Blacklist co-op modes partially detailed
FIFA 14 on PC won't use Ignite engine
Ace Attorney Trilogy coming to iOS next week
Far Cry 3 editor jazzed up with Blood Dragon shinies
Epic Mickey 2 for Vita coming June 18

Alright, Bayonetta might be the best straight up action game I have ever played. Other than being utterly ridiculous in every way possible, the controls make perfect sense, but more importantly you feel like you're in control at all times.
Probably the thing that does it is how every combo is auto cancelled as soon as deviate from the combo, but instead of having some awkward pause, Bayonetta starts the next move immediately. Throw in the ability to continue combos after a dodge and a ridiculous variety of dodges and you can pretty much do whatever you want whenever you want.
Even if you found the demo a bit off putting, which I did, I'd recommend checking this game out.
