Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Trailer Brings Guns, ATVs and Explosions to Panama

The ruins of Panama Canal once again serve as the backdrop for a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 trailer, this one packing nearly a minute and a half of unedited footage.

EA DICE's shooter hits PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 2, with a limited edition of first-run copies providing a "day one advantage" to early adopters by unlocking six multiplayer items at no extra cost. All three platforms are also slated to receive a proper multiplayer-enabled demo, and an open PC beta is due "very early" in 2010.

Shack devs - can we do something about the flash videos having the no sound icon in the fricken center of the video? I can't always watch with sound, so I mute it and I get that. Very annoying.

I am still waiting to see any evidence of ingame PC footage. No 1943 footage and no BC2 footage. I am very skeptical of the frostbite engine and how it will work on PC..................................waiting

This video could have been better, based on the beta you would in no way walk around in the open as he did and survive for very long. The actual gave you spend a lot more time behind cover and running to your next cover.

Anyway I can't fucking wait for this game, the beta was amazing.

I realize DICE is trying to make the PC experience for BC2 something truly great but I'm incredibly skeptical about the PC version shipping on the same day as its console counterparts.

Most large publishers that are releasing across all platforms now wait until a month or two before the launch and announce that the PC version is getting delayed to "make sure its the best it can be". Of course its their paranoia about pirated PC versions cannibalizing the console Sku (which has never ever been shown to have an appreciable affect in any way)

*Nitpick: All these explosions going off right next to people seem to have little effect on them. Maybe they just did this for the trailer though.
