Dragon Age 'Awakening' Expansion Gets Trailer

Fresh off the announcement of Dragon Age: Origins' first full-fledged expansion "Awakening", developer BioWare has issued a trailer that examines its story.

Set after the events of Dragon Age: Origins and bringing with it new quests, an increased level cap, new items, new party members, new enemies and the like, the $40 expansion requires the original game and hits PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 16.

During the original game I unintentionally made Alistair rage quit from my party because I didn't want to kill Loghain . I guess I undestimated Alistair's selfishness . I would have changed my mind, but it was too late. Anyway, I hope Alistair returns despite this in the expansion. He is my favorite character.

I'm glad they're making this, but unless it has close to as much main-quest content as the original game, then it strikes me as over-priced.

Awesome. Looks faithful to the original. I'm at the final battle right now, and so with Mass Effect 2 coming later this month, this should be ready to go right as I finish that! :-D God damn Bioware filling all my gaming time!

The ending for the original campaign made me wanting a TON more from this world. Thank god they're continuing the story arch and not just adding odds and ends as DLC.

The only thing I can see ruining this game is if they don't manage the high level game play well.
