Friends and family gather round, feasts are held three days in a row and there's enough half-melted refrozen snow slush for you to feel some kind of victory. Unless, of course, so much flu courses through your veins that even your sloshed uncle is more alert, stabler and a better conversationalist than you.
I ended up mostly playing King's Bounty: Armored Princess. It's fun. That's my review.
I've tried almost every potion, poultice, syrup, pill, powder, lozenge and tincture under the sun, all to no avail. Desperate times call for desperate measures and it'll be a cold day in Walthamstow before I let Kwanzaa be ruined too so if I'm not on the mend by tomorrow it'll be the ole Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap. Dilute! Dilute! O.K.!

I've got a machine who's main user profile will not process any HTTP request, it works fine on other profiles, but not the main one, even deleting and recreating the profile doesn't work. Help?

So I got this game at $7.50, and there's an option to retrieve an account. I kind of guessed that this was my ea.com account, but entering in that info never worked. So then I figure it's its own database and register with the same email, and then says that that email is already tied to an account. What the cuss's going on?

The woman and I decided Christmas was mainly for the kids, so in lieu of spending a ton of money on ourselves we mainly through it all towards the girls. The joy on their faces was worth it. On the downside, I don't have a Dragon Age: Origins to explore, but that's OK because I'm giving Mass Effect another go and this time it's not so bad. I think I'm a Vanguard and now that I'm slowly getting used to the icky combat system things are slilghtly more fun.
Still, some minor annoyances that I hope get fixed in the next version:
* WTF No Jumping? The last little side-quest I went on had a crate (to investigate) on the very top of a bunch of other objects. How the fuck am I supposed to get up there if I can't jump or even more in a vertical fashion without the aid of stairs or those godforsaken elevators?
* And this is the BIG one ... not being able to check your party members skills and attributes on the ship is a HUGE obnoxious "feature" of the game. I can never remember what I have people like Wrex and Garrus specializing in while on the ship. I can equip them, so why can't I see their other stats while on the Normandy?
The sidequests are pretty ok, although I wish there was a way to upgrade the weapons on the Mako. They feel fairly useless.

I just bought a Zune HD and signed up for the 14 day free trial zune pass... how can I download music to my zune?
I like this thing but the subtext under the SOCIAL option is off-center and it's driving me crazy... it seriously might bug me enough to send it back to Amazon. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way to fix it or something?

It was a small 2-D half life game that came out in 2004ish. It was pretty funny and was a ton of fun. Its a shame that the developer went bankrupt and took the game off of steam. I wonder if Valve goes bankrupt will they take all of their games off steam?

But I still have to finish Dragon Age and I haven't installed any of the THQ pack that I bought back when they had it for 50 and GTA4, and....ugh...I've bought a ton of games this month guys...I've also gone over my bandwidth somehow. I'm suspicious, because i don't think it was all me.
Anyhow, what should I do? is the Witcher worth a purchase?

I allready have Batman but I want dirt 1&2. Codemasters for some reason decided to price their pack for a bit more than $50. The Eidos games look more interesting though.
