Mass Effect 2 Trailers: 'Why I Kill,' by Grunt and Thane

6
"I'm joining Shepard not because I love humans but because I love to fight," Grunt the Krogan Mass Effect 2 companion character explains in the first of two new killing-centric trailers for BioWare's January 26-due PC and Xbox 360 sci-fi RPG sequel.

Murder isn't all a bed of roses though, as Thane the assassin reveals a slightly more nuanced and highbrow take on bumping geezers off in his trailer.

Excited for this game... despite these pathetic excuses for character trailers. And they say the gaming industry doesn't market violence to children... I think it was a 13 yr old who thought this was a good marketing idea.

Excited for a game where violence is necessary? A shooter rpg? Didn't bother me at all, then again I can't see the connection of these trailers being aimed at children.

The violence isn't my complaint. My complaint revolves around how cheesy and lame these particular two trailers are. They seem like they were aimed at a 12yr old level, yet focus on brutality. I just found them lame to an extreme. Nearly everything else ME2 has just made me more stoked to play the game.
