Weekend Discussion: Some Assembly Required

"Some assembly required." I can think of no other phrase that can so quickly dissolve one's holiday spirit, replacing that festive warmth with fear, frustration and confusion.

And, okay, so it took a little bit longer than expected, and maybe one of the connectors got dinged up so that corner juts out a bit. But, I tell you what, once they stop being afraid of it and actually get in, that cat tank playhouse will have been so totally worth it.

    Day after Christmas

So whats the plan Shackers?! Anyone going shopping to take advantage of the "amazing after Christmas sales?" ... are there any good deals out there?

I plan on staying home and relaxing.. start reading one of hte books I got for christmas, play a little Tales of Vesperia and Braid, and just enjoy my vacation. How about you?!

I hoping Steam isn't kaput so I can download the games I bought yesterday. I want to play some Assassin's Creed!

Making serious progress in Deus Ex: Invisible War (up to Antartica). Going to fire up Assassin's Creed II as soon as I finish this. Maybe I'll be able to hit 62 for the year, but I doubt it.

I also plan on staying home. Anyone else have relatives trying to make you go meet them or make you do stuff for/with them?

I've done nothing but hang out and be nice with said relatives for 2-3 days straight now.

Wife needed to come to the mall today. Line at one of the stores she wants to hit looks to be ~45 minutes long. Least the anchor stores have nice cushy chairs.

I was at Walmart today, lines were bad, people were rude. Didn't notice any deals.

I might hit BB to get some after-the-last second things, and probably FO3:GOTY for 360 (cheaper than the DLC!). Otherwise, probably just going to play some Demon's Souls.
