Modern Warfare 2 Patch Fixes Hacks, 1887s
by Alice O'Connor, Dec 23, 2009 10:00am PSTA new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 patch has hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, bringing changes including a rebalancing of the notorious akimbo Model 1887 shotguns.
A forum post by Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling gives the following quick summary of the patch's changes, while he promises on Twitter that full notes that for this and all previous patches will be released "most likely after Holidays."
- 1887s Balanced.
- Public "private" Match fix.
- Infinite Ammo fix.
- Prestige Hack on PS3 fix.
- Texture Hack on PC fix (eliminates any edits to IWD files also).

Most of the people that bought it had not yet actually played it.
