Atari continues to ramp up its marketing efforts as Star Trek Online's early February launch approaches, this time kicking off a series of narrative-driven trailers (dubbed "Veil of Space") with this Captain's Log of a first episode, titled "Into the Den."

Sporting both space and ground-based action and adventure, the latest PC MMO from Cryptic Studios (Champions Online) formally launches on February 2, with an open beta kicking off in mid-January and pre-order "early start" access on January 29.

I'm not usually that guy who complains about poor testing in MMOs, but AoC both really just flat out didn't work right at the beginning, and wasn't a ton of fun once you got out of the intro zone.

I had fun in Champions Online too but got old real fast. Can always hope they figure it all out but never know.
