          They will probably nerf it and I can't say I'd blame them. Being able to airshot people all the way across Gravel Pit B area is just insane. The only thing it sucks for is close-ish range (just out of self-splash damage range) and when pushing with an uber. Otherwise, it's a no-brainer. The Equalizer is probably going to get the nerf hammer first, though. I can't imagine ever wanting to use the shovel when I've got it.

            in its current state, do you think the direct hit is superior to the stickybombs for breaking sentries?

              Stickies still have the capacity to do a huge burst of damage and wipe the whole area clean, whereas the rockets do very focused damage by comparison. If no engy is present or the sentry is out of sticky range, though, I'd say the Direct Hit has a definite edge. It only takes two shots to blow up a level 3 sentry.
