Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Reveals Squad Deathmatch Mode in Video

As the planned March 2, 2010 release date draws closer developer DICE gives us more and more info on Battlefield Bad Company 2. The latest bit comes in a new developer diary video by senior producer Patrick Bach that unveils the Squad Deathmatch mode.

In Squad Deathmatch up to four squads with four players each take on each other in a race to 50 kills. The mode takes advantage of the series' spawn-to-squadleader feature to help keep your team together in the field. Check out all the details and the new Laguna Presa map for yourself in the video:

This will not go over well and no one will play together besides the one team of friends that plays together and wins everyone else is going to just run around and get wasted.

I guarantee that a month after the game's out this gametype will be pretty much empty.

Now THIS does sound pretty cool. Good idea, Dice. Thanks for implementing it.

Hopefully this ships on time, even though I got into the PS3 beta, the controls were so awful to deal with that I've barely played it. Need the PC demo, stat!!
