PixelJunk Eden's Baiyon Launches Recording Label and Teases Famous Collaboration

Kyoto-based multitalented artist Baiyon, who directed the art and sound design in PixelJunk Eden, has launched a recording label named Descanso as his latest endeavor. While I couldn't get any specifics as to who from him, he did tell me that he already has a collaboration in the works with a famous game music composer.

For now, the label which will focus on techno and house music, has its first release, "in the collaborations 01" (descanso-001), available on Beatport and coming in the next day or so to iTunes. You can also get a listen on the Descanso MySpace page

Here's the description Baiyon sent me of the tracks:

The first collaboration is Baiyon with August Engkilde(Multi-instruments player/Producer). August played at many bands and project such as pole, Flanger, Senor Coconut, Burnt Friedman & The Nu Dub Players, and his own band "E.P.O." that released on ~Scape. His style puts lots of jazzy and organic flavor on this work.

The remix is by Italian producer Lorenzo Chiabotti also known as IENASAW(Vinyl Club). He's new-comer releasing singles from Exprezoo and Resopal.
