A bumper haul of downloadable LittleBigPlanet booty on December 22 will add the long-awaited water as well as a treasure trove of goodies themed around Disney's 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movies, developer Media Molecule announced today.

The $6 Pirates of the Caribbean Premium Level Kit adds five PotC-themed levels and a 'cannibal' costume, and will bolster players' level-creation toolkits with water, new music, trophies, materials, decorations, objects, stickers and other nautical goodies.

Costumes for Elizabeth Swann, Barbossa, Davy Jones, Will Turner, Tia Dalma and 'Sack Sparrow' will also be on sale for $2 a pop or together in a $6 PotC Costume Kit.

Does anybody still play this game? I was excited at first, i thought: "man i must get a ps3 to play this" but the hype dissapeared. Is it still worth the money?

The hype machine always dies down after release. Marketing does wonders.

I still play this game when guests come over. It's the most girl-friendly game I've ever seen.

It's worth it just for the user levels. Although wading through the crap can be difficult.

I play it on occasion. It's hard to get my attention from MW2, though.

I haven't for a bit, but reading this makes me want to get the DLC and finish some of my levels.

I still play it when I'm with a group of people. This is actually my primary party game. I also enjoy making levels a lot.

Yea I'm still playing it. Not all the time but once in a while I put it in and play with my gf or a friend online. I also check out community levels sometimes. I think it's one of the best platform games ever. Over the summer I aced the entire game (for the gold trophy) and that was a lot of fun too. Pretty sure I'll be getting this DLC, it'll give me a reason to go back in. Plus Bad Company 2 Beta is ending soon :-/.
