Bethesda to Publish id's Rage
by Alice O'Connor, Dec 15, 2009 7:38am PSTid software and Bethesda Softworks parent company ZeniMax Media today announced that it has acquired the publishing rights to id's post-apocalyptic shooter Rage.
Rage was originally to be published by Electronic Arts through EA Partners, a deal that remained in place after ZeniMax snapped up the Doom and Quake creator in June.
Bethesda Softworks will now be publishing Rage. "As a result, Electronic Arts Inc. will not be involved in the sales and marketing of RAGE," said a press statement. "The ongoing development of RAGE is unaffected by this development."
The announcement unfortunately gave no further indication of when Rage's PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release might be. "I can say that production is going well," is all id software's Tim Willits could tell us during an interview at QuakeCon in August.

Wet was very poor, and Rogue Warrior is getting some of the worst review scores I've ever seen for a large release
