S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Coming in February

GSC Game World's creepy PC shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat will be released internationally in February 2010, publisher bitComposer Games announced today.

The news is celebrated with new screenshots showing more of the irradiated Ukranian wasteland as well as one of Pripyat's many downright unsettling lurking horrors.

Call of Pripyat's Russian and German editions were released earlier this year.

I know Russian so I imported a copy and played through it. It's god damn phenomenal. Best STALKER game yet, and probably the best game I've played all this year. Old-school through and through, no handholding, tons of exploration and discovery, atmospheric, creepy. I'm going to get the English version as well, hopefully through Steam, because having paid only 500 rubles for it felt like me robbing the devs.
