Elect Your Pre-Order Bonus Outfit in Red Dead Redemption at GameStop
by Jeff Mattas, Dec 08, 2009 4:30pm PSTRockstar Games announced an exclusive partnership with videogame retailer GameStop to deliver special pre-order bonus content for its upcoming wild west action game Red Dead Redemption. As a special twist, those pre-ordering the game via GameStop will be able to vote for their favorite of three character outfits on the GameStop website, starting January 4th.
The winning threads will be unlockable via a series of in-game challenges. According to the press release, "the outfit will uniquely affect how the surrounding world responds to the game's protagonist, John Marston."
With Red Dead Redemption due to mosey onto the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on April 27, 2010 there should be ample time to campaign for your favorite. Please don't let it be a tutu.
