White Knight Chronicles Hits PS3 in February

More than a year after it premiered in Japan, Level-5's PlayStation 3 action-RPG White Knight Chronicles will finally in North America on February 2, 2010.

As outlined on the PlayStation.Blog, the enhanced North American release, dubbed "International Edition," packs a number of additions to the game, including more than fifty extra quests playable online or off, voice chat, a customizable village that can be visited by other players, and new gameplay dialog to help add "a little more character."

That right screenshot looks like PS2's FF11. I looked at some youtube videos and the game looks like an online FF12 which might be nice. I hope it's not grindy-slow-pace like Aion though.

If Famitsu didn't like it then I don't have high hopes for it doing well in the US

I only bring this up because Famitsu has been pretty generous lately with scores.

With White Knight Story, it's kind of unfortunate that the online component dragged the score down.

if you read the whole article it states that famitsu didn't give a reason to the score just said that the online mode needed to have auto attack or run so they could chat better, it looks like they focused on the 1 bad part of the game that has nothing to do with the single player.

With voice chat (which I heard is being implemented in the NA version), that complaint is pretty much obsolete.

"The game goes on sale next Thursday, December 25th, 2009 2008, a day that people in non-Japanese countries call "Christmas"."

just blew my mind, i was all crawled up in some wtf for a minute there. (also thinking that this game had already been released as the sequels already coming out)
