White Knight Chronicles Hits PS3 in February

More than a year after it premiered in Japan, Level-5's PlayStation 3 action-RPG White Knight Chronicles will finally in North America on February 2, 2010.

As outlined on the PlayStation.Blog, the enhanced North American release, dubbed "International Edition," packs a number of additions to the game, including more than fifty extra quests playable online or off, voice chat, a customizable village that can be visited by other players, and new gameplay dialog to help add "a little more character."

There's something wrong with a genre when a staple is running around killing insects and creatures for no purpose other than to level up your character and take up your time before getting to the next event.

That right screenshot looks like PS2's FF11. I looked at some youtube videos and the game looks like an online FF12 which might be nice. I hope it's not grindy-slow-pace like Aion though.

The first trailers I saw for this game had me super-excited about it. I think it was before the PS3 was even out yet. I told myself I would buy a PS3 when this game came out because it just looked amazing.

But these screenshots isn't really impressing me so now I'm not so sure anymore. Will wait for some reviews and check out some footage when it's released to see how it really plays.
