inFamous Pre-Order Bonus Available to All Soon

Formerly available to only those who pre-ordered inFamous from GameStop, the "Gigawatt Blades" will soon be available to all owners of Sucker Punch's super-powered action game.

The power will arrive as free downloadale content on December 10, going by the official PlayStation.Blog, which also revealed that the price of the PlayStation 3 exclusive has now been lowered to $39.99.

Sony also noted that inFamous, which debuted at retail in May 2009, has since sold over 1.6 million copies. No official word on the sequel quite yet, but it's coming.

I wanted this game to be good. I think I ruined it for myself by playing prototype first though. No matter how many abilities I got in this game I felt so slow moving through the city. My biggest gripe was that the majority of the primary missions towards the second half of the game were escort missions. Escort missions suck so much, especially when overused, which was the problem here. I found prototype to be far far more fun than this game. If I hadn't played prototype I think I would have enjoyed it more, but enough with the freaking escort missions.

  There are both blue and red versions. I got them at release, but didn't end up using them much. : Snake&Crane
