Divinity 2 Trailer Knows What You're Thinking
by Alice O'Connor, Dec 03, 2009 12:30pm PSTAs if the ability to turn into a dragon were not powerful enough, a new Divinity II trailer reveals that its dragon slayer hero also picks up the handy ability to read minds.
Divinity II - Ego Draconis isn't due to arrive in North America for PC and Xbox 360 until January 5, though Larian's action RPG was realeased in Europe earlier this month.

It could have used a bit more time put in to the actual game world (which at times seems small and confined even though it is a long game), but it more than makes up for that in other areas. It's got a great loot system (Diablo like), pretty fun combat, some great humour, and some of the best music I've heard in a game. Plus half way through you even (slight spoilers) get to turn in to a dragon and get your own mage's tower. The story isn't bad either, although the ending is a little...different.
This trailer is pretty terrible though. Not only does it give you no idea what the game is like, it seems to focus on the one thing that's just a bit of a gimmick and isn't even used all that much (telepathy).
