Gratuitous Space Battles Expansion Released
Available direct from Positech for $5.99, The Tribe adds a new race of the same name with eleven new ships which focus on tough hulls and fast repairs, as well as a new kinetic weapon type and two scenarios featuring the "idealistic space-hippies."

replyi tried the demo of the original, and as much as i like the concept and art in the follow along tutorial, all the little weapon/etc options/choices/tweaking just seemed overwhelming to the point of me not even wanting to bother with even starting the hands on part of the demo. uninstalled it.
needs to be dumbed down for the masses :)-
hmmm, ok, i might give it another try eventually, i do like space battles, especially if they're gratuitous, so i should be liking this.
