Super Street Fighter 4 Media Reveals Old-School Fighters

Capcom has announced a triumphant return to Street Fighter for series founding fighter Adon and Final Fight stars Cody and Guy in Super Street Fighter IV, who all were last playable in 1998's Street Fighter Alpha 3.

The enhanced re-release will bring "about eight new characters," new online modes including 'winner stays on' and team battles, the return of car- and barrel-smashing minigames and a rebalancing when it arrives for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in spring 2010.

Alright so i heared the news that super streetfighter 4 is comming out on the ps3 and the xbox 360 next spring so whats with capcom making another street fighter 4 with more added characters and just to called it ''Super'' wow whats up with that and they gonna make us shell out another 40 bucks for another game i think thats just bull crap when they shouldve just have these new characters and features as add-ons on the playstation store for the original street fighter 4.

I'm excited about the game in a way, but it's going to split the community not even a year after the first game came out. Boy, they're not taking any hints from Infinity Ward. I guess that "split the community" argument only comes out when it pays to do so.

I find it odd that this isn't a DLC pack. I guess it could be a large download, but that hasn't stopped DLC lately, especially the $20 variety. I still prefer a real physical disk, don't get me wrong, but $40 is a lot to pay for a current customer of SF4. I'd feel great if I had capitulated on buying SF4, but I didn't. :\
