This game is gettin every1 so damn pissed off. First you got the people who are sayin the game sux(which I am not one of) Then you have the people saying the game is good(which i am not one of either) and both sides are getting pissed over a industry that is supposed to entertain us. Now folks, lets be reasonable, its only the demo, I played the QIIIA demo and was not impressed at all, but I loved the full version, A demo is just that, A DEMO so please people stop bashin Romero, he is a nice guy and hell if the game doesn't sell but he thinks that its a good game, good for him, he made what he wanted to make but I get so pissed off when people Bitch and moan cause when a game gets this much hype its gonna let ya down, yes the enimies are "Not Worthy" acording to the dailygaydar, I mean radar, but wtf do they know, I think they just can't kill the little suckers so they complain about it, maybe people should stop complaining about the game and send a e-mail to Romer sayin what they think they liked about it, and maybe some "constructive criticism" to help make the game get better before its true release date.

Right on, Tom. Yes, John IS a nice guy. People are playing his so-called 'rock' image way to high. He already admits a million times that the early PR was indeed a mistake. I don't think comments like "if your actually playing.." are fair. No one has played the full version yet. Daily Rader is the best example of hiring complete incompetent editors who seem to only negative to get hits for their site. If anything else, i'd say give the game a chance and if you dont like it return it. Just keep in mind, just because you think the demo sucks, does not give you the right to warez it. I've already seen comments from people like "bah i warez it then trash it". VERY lame.

Ok..now I got slammed yesterday for calling Steve biased against DK. Who posted this? "If you're actually trying to play Daikatana..." Hope that wasn't you Steve - you had me convinced you weren't biased...almost :)

Oh sheesh people, name one good gaming site that is 100% objective. Please. You want reviews and opinions, or else you wouldn't be here. Blaming the Shack guys for wording something about Daikatana one way or another is bull.

See, that's why I plan on ignoring the lamers here on the Shugashack who are bashing Daikatana...I expected that. I'm waiting until some websites that I respect review it, personally.

i emailed him telling him that i liked the game, because i do, and i felt compelled to tell him, since all he gets is negative press

he was really nice to me and even replied, we traded emails back and forth a few times about various things

that alone earns my 50 bucks right there
i've never had anyone reply to me before (and i usually tend to email lead programmer or some of the design team if i liked their game)

Damn, you would think that from all of the negative posts this game has received I thought that it would be like playing that Journey game that sucked so bad on Atari 2600.

I liked it, and it wasn't a huge turd like most of you said it was. The deathmatch is, can you believe it, it is fun.

Shit - I am even going to buy te full game when it comes out.

Wooow... someone is actually trying to finish the game.
