Divinity 2 Gone Gold, Pre-Order Detailed
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 24, 2009 2:30pm PSTDivinity II publisher dtp entertainment has today announced that Larian's action RPG sequel to Divine Divinity has gone gold for North America and will arrive for PC and Xbox 360 on January 5, 2010, having been released in Europe last week.
Pre-ordering from GameStop will net fledgling dragon slayers the exclusive Blood Echelon armour and claymore--which apparently "cleaves armor like it was mere flesh."
Subtitled 'Ego Draconis,' Divinity II tells of a dragon slayer cursed to transform into a dragon. What is a cruel irony for the slayer becomes a joy for players, adding airborne fireball combat to the questing-dungeon crawling mix as shown in the following trailer.
