Bayonetta Demo Due December 3

A downloadable sampling of Platinum Games' sadistic shooter Bayonetta is due in North America and Europe on Thursday, December 3, publisher Sega revealed today.

Arriving in both the PlayStation 3's PlayStaiton Store and the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Marketplace on that day, the demo provides a playable glimpse of the latest from Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya, in which players take control of an angel-slaying protagonist clothed by her own magical hair. She also has guns in her shoes.

The extremely over-the-top action game hits North American shops on January 5, with European retailers getting it January 8. Both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions have already been released in Japan, where they garnered rave reviews.

So this is the "Button A" game, right? ;)

Tried that in the demo and it really is as easy (and boring) as it sounds.

I guess.......that is if you're not good enough to play the game normally

Well, you can always go the God of War route where you QTE every major part. Ninja Blade was like that too. I still think that the Ninja Gaiden and DMC series are the best in the genre. Every other game so far has been fun but not up to the standards set by those 2 series.

yeah. It's really really fun if you play it without assists though. It's like this crazy combination between Devil May Cry and Mortal Kombat. This game is going to be fucking amazing.

It looks kind of cool, I must admit. I don't mind QTE's all that much as long as they're kind of fun and inserted at the right time.
