Bayonetta Demo Due December 3
by Chris Faylor, Nov 23, 2009 8:03am PSTA downloadable sampling of Platinum Games' sadistic shooter Bayonetta is due in North America and Europe on Thursday, December 3, publisher Sega revealed today.
Arriving in both the PlayStation 3's PlayStaiton Store and the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Marketplace on that day, the demo provides a playable glimpse of the latest from Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya, in which players take control of an angel-slaying protagonist clothed by her own magical hair. She also has guns in her shoes.
The extremely over-the-top action game hits North American shops on January 5, with European retailers getting it January 8. Both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions have already been released in Japan, where they garnered rave reviews.
