Borderlands DLC Screenshots: Zombie Island

19
With the undead-themed Borderlands downloadble content 'The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned' arriving on consoles this week, Gearbox has raised a handful of new screenshots.

Toting new quests, locations, items and enemies including "Were Skags, Crawling Torsos and Exploding Tankensteins and the so-called 'undead,'" The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned will hits Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 tomorrow, November 24, at $10. A PC release is also planned for the DLC, though Gearbox has yet to announce when that will be.

Gearbox recently declared its shooter RPG "the fastest-selling original property video game launch of 2009," having been released for 360 and PS3 on October 20 then PC on October 26 and racking up 418,000 sales on consoles alone by the end of the month. The title of the year's overall biggest launch has been claimed by Modern Warfare 2.

Anyone have gameplay related details - such as what levels this is for (two playthroughs?) and/or does this raise the level cap?

A level cap increase would be nice.

It scales to your current in-game level. I don't have the link but I saw that as part of a story here on Shack a handful of days ago.

But if your in-game level is 50, that means there's zero progression in the DLC. This kind of totally sucks balls.
