The fifth and final chapter in Telltale Games' episodic adventure series Tales of Monkey Island will be released on PC come December 8, the company confirmed today.

Dubbed "Rise of the Pirate God," Chapter 5 is billed as the "grand finale" and promises to answer "many vexing questions," such as the fate of hero Guybrush Threepwood.

In addition, Telltale announced that it is now selling the four previous episodes individually, at $8.95 a pop, alongside the $34.95 five-chapter bundle. No word yet as to when the series will conclude on Wii, but we'll let you know when we find out.
