Curiously, the demo first emerged through the German Coca-Cola Zero website. However, it's fully playable in English, despite some installation quirks.

As Blue's News points out, the installer will display a CRC error for ReadMe_uk.txt, but choosing "Ignore" will allow the installation to complete normally. To play, you'll need to open the proper directory (default is Program Files->Ubisoft->Demo->James Cameron's AVATAR - THE GAME (Demo)->bin) and open AvatarDemo.exe, as installation does not create any shortcuts. Unlike Blue, we did not encounter any sound issues.

Due out on just about every major current platform, Avatar: The Game hits North America in PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP form on December 1.
