Saboteur PC System Requirements Unveiled

Pandemic has revealed the modest system requirements for The Saboteur, its open-world stealth-action shooter set during World of War 2 in Nazi-occupied Paris.

The Saboteur will sneak onto PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on December 8.

Required system specifications:
CPU: Core 2 Dual Core 2.4GHz or AMD equivalent
RAM: 2GB or more
Video: Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX with 256MB of VRAM or ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256MB of VRAM
Hard drive: At least 7GB of free space
Disc drive: Dual Layer 1x or faster DVD Drive
Sound: Direct X 9.0c compatible sound card
OS: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP1, Windows 7
Suggested Configuration:
Processor: Quad Core running at 2.8 GHz or equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM (Windows XP) or 3 GB RAM (Windows Vista/7)
GPU: nVidia 8800 GT graphics card with 512 MB of VRAM
OS: Windows XP - SP3 or Windows Vista - SP1

This looks like it could create a similar backlash to Crysis's system requirements.. And crysis only wanted a 6800.. Really, people need to start accepting the fact that they need to upgrade.. They complain about bad graphics and yet expect their 4 year old hardware to run everything fully maxed out.

The demoed the PC version to giant bomb. Looks really good. Also a good sign when they use the PC version for a demo.

I'm hoping the game is decent. And those requirements seem acceptable to me, considering how the trailer looked.

Saw this a while back and thought "meh" but after seeing this I think I'm going to pick it up; looks really fun.

Ya it's WWII but this is a little different from all the WWII FPS.

Pandemic has yet to deliver this generation. Mercenaries 2 was an absolute cluster fuck, its ancient gameplay model, coupled with terrible physics, idiotic AI and a very boring world did not give me a good time. LOTR Conquest was a fucking joke....

I really want this game to be good, hopefully this is what they were focusing on when those other 2 games were in development. But with such a shitty track record this generation, I can't see how they can turn around and deliver on quality. I hope....but I don't see it.

I hope it's a better Port than Mercenaries 2, because that one was a lazy Port(still a fun Game, but the Port was not even near the quality of a Resi5/SF IV (Example).
