If you're into the series or filmmaking her intertwined commentary on both might be fun to follow for a while.
When I saw that story on Rage with Carmack where he says that he doesn't think they'll have dedicated servers I did a double take. Why on earth would you jump right into that hornet's nest? And then he says, "We'll see how it works out for everyone else." Great plan there, except wait, you just didn't wait. And then he goes on and speculates that whether they support mods may be up for discussion too? What on earth is going on? It's like last night while hanging out after dinner the lack of dedicated server support in MW2 came up (again). We were outright laughing about how you even come to the conclusion to make 9 vs. 9 the max team size.
But that couldn't put a damper on what's been a great week that's lined up plenty of fun for the weekend. Left 4 Dead 2 demo, Dragon Age, Torchlight...you know what that sounds like?

I was told I need to find a trainer now that I've hit level 7 so that i can specialize, but I dont recall anything in the game telling me where to find one (codex perhaps?). Where does one find a mage trainer?

Because perhaps it suits the game design experience they want to deliver? Did you outright laugh at Gears 1 for being 4x4 or did you perhaps recognize that it was a godo number for that gameplay style?

Finally got lvl 100 tonight, got to floor 56 when i dinged. Total play time was 19hrs, Playing as Destroyer on Hard mode/softcore.

with my gear and build i crit for about 190k which basically insta gibs every monster in the game even named bosses, which is kinda funny to see as my crit rate is 64% with an attack speed of about 0.2 sec

I have ATT Uverse. If your not familiar with it the line comes into a wireless router. I have an airport extreme plugged into the wireless router so I can use 802.11n. I have a computer hard wired into the back of one of the uverse set top boxes, I'm not sure where that connection goes really. That computer can not see anything on the airport extreme. All Windows network map shows is computer---gateway---internet .

Compared to the PC version; its laggy, its difficult to aim and the players are awful.
Laggy: This is probably due to the host having a terrible connection, but still really made the experience fairly frustrating.
Difficult to aim: chris remo mentioned a very good point that the standard of "shoot from and hip" and "aim down the iron sights" modes added granularity to aiming speed that L4D1 really lacked. I concur.
People being rubbish: Most of the time, i can't be bothered to talk to random people through the headset. Text chat is being phased out of most games, but this is a shame since a lot of the less experienced players aren't going to get any better. I don't mind giving tips like "close the doors behind you", or "save molotovs for tank, and for the love of god- stop throwing them at my face"; but with sole reliance of VOIP means tips get handed out at a much less extent.
Anyone had any positive experiences of the console L4D over the PC version?

You can create another account and vote again if you clear the cookies for the site... So it would be great if you could vote twice or so. But maybe not too often since they in fact have changed the system from what it was in the last days. Before yesterday there was no cookie and the votes the video got were displayed on the site and it was clearly visible that some of the videos had manipulated votes. And now they also write that they watch out for manipulated votes..

News: Daniel "Super Daniel Man" Lee, co-caster for GOMTV and ex-coach of the eSTRO team, has decided to leave the world of pro Starcraft and work in the insurance industry. His Twitter comment, "a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do", suggests to me that there wasn't really an opportunity for him to make a living doing further casting, what with GOM season 4 not happening.
