Command & Conquer Red Alert Arrives on iPhone
by Chris Faylor, Nov 02, 2009 8:16am PSTHaving just barely missed its expected October release, the iPhone and iPod touch entry in EA's Command & Conquer Red Alert series is now available via iTunes.
Priced at $9.99, the touch-controlled strategy game includes a 12-map single-player campaign and a Skirmish mode. Multiplayer will be added later in a free update.

Additional content will be sold in-game as paid downloads. The first expansion, dubbed "Assault Pack," adds six new Skirmish maps for $0.99 and is now available.
An "Empire of the Rising Sun" expansion is also in the works, said to deliver "a third faction with its own story, units and buildings for an additional low price."

I haven't tried this one yet but I am tempted. But I did just buy Rockband, Doom classic and Catan for the iPhone though. Also, I haven't finished Doom resurrection or Wolf RPG. I'm going to have to bring my headphones everywhere I go now so i can play these sound based games more often. I tend to play muted a lot otherwise because I am in a public place and don't want to bother people.
