In addition to the update, developer Naughty Dog also announced the "first ever Double Cash Weekend," which started at 11:00 AM PST today, and continues until 11:00 AM PST on November 2. During Double Cash Weekend, players will earn twice the normal cash when "completing typical in-game actions." The extra currency helps all players level their multiplayer Rank more quickly than usual.
The development team will also be playing online this weekend, so if you notice a red paw next to someone's PSN ID, you can communicate your appreciation with a hail of gunfire.
