CSI: Deadly Intent Demo Hits Xbox Live

It may not be the corpse-centric demo you were hoping for, but should you be interested in perusing a crime scene or two, a demo of CSI: Deadly Intent can be found on on Xbox Live.

The latest from Sam & Max and Tales of Monkey Island developer Telltale Games, the television show-inspired adventure-game arrived at North American retailers today in PC, Xbox 360 and Wii form. A separate Nintendo DS edition, handled by Other Ocean and subtitled "The Hidden Cases," also arrived today.

As usual, the demo is currently restricted to Xbox Live Gold members. Typically, demos are made available to everyone else on Xbox Live a week after they arrive on the service.

I don't have an xbox, but I am curious about what CSI is like.
    Has anyone played it yet?

      I played it, Rick.

      1. Graphics are mediocre.
      2. Voice acting is okay - Lawrence Fishbourne's acting sounds phoned in.
      3. Mouse/Cursor Movement is unforgiveable.
      4. The one crime I played took me about an hour and was definitely a whodunit. I had to hit the sack before I could finish it and there is no save slot. During that hour, I: inspected a crime scene; interviewed two (2) witnesses, twice (after new developments), fingerprinted an item; did a chemical analysis; matched some DNA; mismatched some fingerprints; inspected a corpse; matched details up from the corpse with some evidence under the microscope.

I could see playing through this for the stories if you're a fan - they appear to be well written and difficult to flat out guess the solution. I would definitely pick this up if the achievements are a gimme.

Thanks for the description. It sounds about as good as I'd expect it to be (5 or 6 out of 10).
