My son who enjoys lego batman/starwars/indy and surprisingly, Wii Music, would probably enjoy this. It's on my short list for him for his birthday. Though I've been rearing him on Kingdom Hearts and Starcraft and the like, I think he'd have fun with this.
I think it's geared more toward his demographic (7 yrs old) than most of us here. -
Ya I am not crazy about the Lego + RB marriage either, but my wife was surefire excited and insists we are getting it, lol. I have a feeling it will sell fine.

How is this a bad idea? It's a version of Rock Band (a game that is well liked and doing quite well) themed with another well loved franchise that gives a clear indication that this is a "family friendly" game, and if you just want the songs that are in it, you can export them and play them in the regular version. I can't see where anybody loses.
