Morning Discussion
by Alice O'Connor, Oct 20, 2009 6:00am PDTSpace Invaders 2 Extreme might arrive in the US today but elsewhere we've had it for positively yonks. Weeks, even. I haven't played too much as my DSi generally serves bus and train duty but I can confirm that it is indeed worthy of the "Extreme" tag, as judged by pop culture standards of hyperactive backgrounds and unexpected transitions.
Please, continue as you were.

Minecraft for Xbox 360 dev working on 'Adventure' update
I finally updated the Chrome extension:

I implemented something like seven of the eleven scripts it originally ran. I'm hoping that Filthysock or pieman will fill in the blanks and update the stragglers. I've done enough work on this. haha

She didn't really use computers before, so she isn't used to how the mouse reacts to movements etc, but she managed to walk around in Garrys mod and shoot barrels. (Which is pretty good if you keep in mind she never played games)
Now I am looking for FPS that could be fun for her.
Things I am looking for:
- Not dark/scary
- Not overly bloody or gory
- If possible no military context
Thats basically it. Team Fortress 2 might be a bit too complex to explain for the start, and Left4Dead is too...you know, zombie infested.
Help me Shack!

Is there any way to quickly heal or does one always have to go into the menu system?

Anyone looking to get in on the 4-pack? Playing tonight reminded me how much fun I had playing it with shackers last year and I want to get in on this deal while the shack-hype is still hot.

The largest group of people paid $0.01. I don't know about you but I find that somewhat insulting. I know it's the minimum and you're more than welcome to choose that much but come on. I'd rather not pay than just give them a cent.
How much would you pay if you haven't played it yet? How much do you think it's worth for those of you who have played/beaten the game?

"Telling the story of a naughty little boy, Max, who is sent to bed without his supper only to journey by boat to a land where wild monsters live, Sendak's classic tale was first published in 1963 and has captured children's imaginations ever since. With a film version adapted by Dave Eggers and Spike Jonze out later this year, Sendak told this week's edition of Newsweek that he would "not tolerate" parental concerns about the book being too scary.
"I would tell them to go to hell," Sendak said. And if children can't handle the story, they should "go home," he added. "Or wet your pants. Do whatever you like. But it's not a question that can be answered.""

A recent accident at an anime convention has caused my Zune's headphones to explode and I'm looking for a good sturdy pair that'll be comfortable (if not more) just like them. I've mildly checked stores and have come to the conclusion that they are all shit and I come here asking for your favorites/recommendations for in or out of ear headphones.
Links would be nice and thanks in advance :D.
