inFamous Sequel Outed by Actor
by Chris Faylor, Oct 13, 2009 2:00pm PDTIt seems that developer Sucker Punch is unsurprisingly readying a sequel to its PlayStation 3 exclusive inFamous, going by a tweet from actor David Sullivan.
"First voiceover/motion capture audition today for a video game," wrote Sullivan, as noticed by G4. "Re-casting of Cole in the sequel of Infamous. 'I'll melt your face.' e.g." The actor previously starred in Shane Carruth's fantastic time-traveling flick Primer.
The first inFamous, which hit earlier this year, saw Jason Cottle voice protagonist Cole McGrath--a bike messenger who gains electrical super-powers in the wake of catastrophe. The conclusion of the open-world action game left the door wide open for a sequel, though there's been no official word as to when or if it will be released.
