Command & Conquer 4 Screenshots: The End of the World As We Know It

17
With TiberiUM set to render Earth uninhabitable within years, it's no surprise that this new batch of Command & Conquer 4 screenshots hit all our favourite post-apocalyptic notes, showing a location named Junktown, a barren brown landscape, giant broken pipes and even a Thunderdome of sorts--well, a lightning dome, perhaps.

EA Los Angeles' Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight will conclude the 'Tiberium saga' started by the original C&C when it arrives on PC next year, rounded out with class-based gameplay, mobile bases and a 5v5 objective-based multiplayer mode.

I'll be sorta sad to see it go. C&C was the very first RTS I played and the game that got me into the genre.

I'm not sure I've really liked a C&C game since Tiberian Sun or RA2, RA3 was sort of a joke to me, they tried too hard to give it that over the top cartoon feel I think...I never actually played C&C 3 cause I just heard bad things, am I justified or should I pick it up>

C&C 3 was actually decent. C&C Original / Red Alert / C&C3 are the only decent C&C games. The rest are just....crap.

I agree, I never saw the appeal of the other games

I thought Kane's Wrath was pretty good, once they did the major overhaul to the resource system. Made the mp less about pure spam and more about resource contention..

I liked C&C: Generals Zero Hour... after that they all went to shit basically! Well C&C3 was alright, but everything in resent memory pretty much sucked.

RA3 was ok, about the same for me as CnC:3, although I played cnc:3 more. RA3 is a game I wish I played more, I don't think I ever made a decision as too how much I liked it.
