Activision Closes 'Web of Shadows' Dev Shaba

Shaba Studios, the developer responsible for Spider-man: Web of Shadows, was shut down today by owner Activision according to several reports.

Though the doors of the San Francisco-based studio were closed, Kotaku put the number of terminated employees at just 30 out of the 61-strong team. nope Founded in 1997, Shaba was largely responsible for ports of Tony Hawk games before shipping Web of Shadows in 2008.

Activision also recently cut 30 employees from its wholly-owned 7 Studios, a move it chalked up to "realignment" of its music genre workforce.
