    So which language should I learn to play around with AI logic and causal logic? I don't do programming for a living but have a hobby project to combine statistics with causality. Back at the university I learned some prolog, but that is long forgotten. Since then, I've done mostly VBA programming.
    
    Evidently, I don't have a clue about what I'm asking - I'm just trying to find what is most useful to learn. I think I need 1) some basic calculus (matrix operations etc), 2) object-oriented logic and 3) a rule-based system that can derive logical consequences of the set of rules that I've made.
