Dragon Age Devs Boast 'A Living World' in New Trailer
by Nick Breckon, Oct 05, 2009 4:02pm PDT"They'll tell of the ancient Feraldens. They'll tell of the strife with the Devinter empire long ago. They'll tell of the great, wondrous battles that have taken place," says Dragon Age designer Ferret Baudoin of the game's environments in this short dev diary.
An interesting note is that the BioWare dev team used the Neverwinter Nights engine to prototype Dragon Age levels before finally crafting them for the final game.
I can't tell you about the ancient Feraldens, but I can tell you that Dragon Age arrives on PC and Xbox 360 on November 3, with the PS3 release following later that month.

If scientist and politicians would go together and make a game, then arcanum is that game. (though it’s just as unituitive as you might imagine)

And if that second bozo 'Ferrett' has anything to do on Dragon Age I'll be sick. Games like this have expansion packs, not DLC. I dont want to be drip fed armour, small dungeon arenas, and other bullshit that was cut from the original retail release for $5 a time. No fucking thank you.
And finally developers, enough with the talking head making-of trailers. You are all ugly stupid looking people who work behind a monitor for a reason. This isn't a personal attack, this is fact. We dont give a shit how you've 'bringing a vivid reality to our windows desktops and home entertainment consoles (TM)', but unless your name is Heidi Klum we dont want to see you.
I didn't sleep well, as you may have gathered.
