Multi-display menz: Need a FREE WinXP friendly app that will stretch an image as a Windows Desktop across two monitors, one of which is rotated 90 degrees. Ultramon and DisplayFusion both worked great for their trial periods, but I just want this one feature, so I don't want to have to pay for software. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Played a game with Maliken last night where I felt so useless. He is just really really squishy. Anyone have recommended items for him. Seems like I should rush towards one of the armors (Demonic/Frostfield) rather than some of the other 'recommended items'. Anyone have any good Habanero recipes? I am about to have about 100 home grown "Maya Red" Habenero Peppers from 1 of my plants that finally bloomed. They are red not yellow.. and longer and a bit slender than normal habaneros. I don't think Habanero's dry very well.

Also about to have about 200 extra hot thai peppers and 100 serranos. I'm probably just going to try to dry out the thai peppers in the oven.

MD / DC / VA / PA Shackers

Alright this is extremely early planning!! But I want to do a Kings Dominion Shackmeet next year. Yes I'm already planning a 2010 shackmeet!! No excuses this is 8 months in advance!! :D
I haven't decided on a concrete date yet. Looking at a Saturday in May 2010 (5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22 or 5/29). Going earlier in the season should help keep crowds down and it shouldn't be as hot!!

The park is just north of Richmond, VA... only ~1.5 hour drive from DC. About ~3.5 to 4 Hours from areas in Southern PA.

Kings Dominion is adding a new ride in 2010 called Intimidator 305, its 305ft tall coaster hitting about 95mph! Looks to be a sweet ride from the look of it.

California Shacker Menz! I need help deciding what to visit please!

My wife and I are going to visit California in mid-October, with San Francisco as the main city for the trip and then traveling around the area. I searched the comments and got an idea of some things to do, but our current itinerary is:
- 4 days in San Francisco
- Rent a car and drive to Monterey bay for one night
- Drive to Yosemite for hiking and stay for one night
- Drive to Lake Tahoe (South) for one night
- Drive to Muir Woods and then back to SF for one night before flying back

Questions:
1) Is Monterey bay worth the visit - what is there to see or do? It would take 5 hrs to drive to Yosemite from Monterey bay. Is it worth it to say screw it to Monterey and just spend 2 days in Yosemite? We like nature, but we're not up to camping in mid-October. So we're planning on staying somewhere just outside of Yosemite I guess.
2) Is 4 days in SF more than enough or should we spend just 3 days and go elsewhere?? What are the musts in SF? Alcatraz for sure, but what others?

Any other suggestions for places to visit in the area would be appreciated. We have a ton of books we're reading here but it'd be nice to have the local opinion.

High End PC Build: Last update...srsly.

Had to start a new thread after that last cluster fuck. I do value the criticism, even if it's somewhat "abrasive". I've been here long enough to understand it's well intentioned...mostly.

This final list for your consideration trims a bunch of the items pointed out as unnecessary, and provides for a solid upgrade path. This is slightly less than half the cost of the system in my first list. Anyone looking for ssd's can stop here. Drive improvements, cost reductions and increased capacities are close enough that I'm willing to wait a little while longer. Period.

System total for this list is: $2200

I have now joined the proud ranks of PS3 owners.

So what should I do with this thing? I got LittleBigPlanet and played it with a bunch of friends last night and it was fucking amazing and hysterical and amazing and holy shit why didn't I buy this a year ago. I also played around in home which was also hysterical except for the opposite reason.

I downloaded Fat Princess and Flower. I know you guys are going to say Wipeout HD but without a demo I don't know if I want to drop $20 on it.

Speaking of which, being a long term 360 owner, here are some initial impressions:
* I am not a big fan of the PS3's dashboard interface but I do think it's better than the current 360's.
* The fact that every 360 arcade game is required to have a demo fucking rocks and I am pretty pissed that the PS3 doesn't do the same thing. It's something I always took for granted but now that I want to try demos of all these PSN games and can't, I fucking hate it not being there.
* I do not like the PS3 controller overall, but the much better D-Pad sure is nice. I also like the shallower face buttons. But the overall shape is far inferior to the 360 in my opinion.
* Controller prices for all platforms are a fucking ripoff. Jesus.

Anyway what games are the best? And who wants to send me games so I don't have to buy like a million games?

I got this 32bit copy of Windows 7 Ultimate from the launch event sitting in front of me. I am feeling lazy and don't feel like obtaining the 64bit ISO and using this key for it and I don't feel like reformatting.

Is there really a big difference between 32bit and 64bit Windows 7 if I am going to stay with 4gb of memory for a while?

GTA3 is an awesome game for its time but the lack of motorbikes and so on isn't cool.
Both VC and GTA3 just downright suck for dying in the water and suck for falling from motorbikes or not being able to jump fences, good storyline aside I simply can't play VC or GTA3 anymore.

Still, for their day - amazing amazing games.

My SB rep told me today that the free 7 upgrade that the home side enjoys is, in fact, a full version of 7 and not just the upgrade. Everything I've seen on the site indicates upgrade, but this guy hasn't been wrong yet. Anybody know for sure?
